Solutions Engineer Sr

• Provide presales support in the assigned region to as many as five sales people for business resumption services (Continuity), Tape based backups, Data mirroring, Data replication, Managed Hosting, Data Center Out-Sourcing, and Professional Consulting services engagements.

• Deliver Technical presentations of service offerings to new and existing Customers.

• Gather technical information on the customers IT environment to include but not limited to: Data Center Operations, Systems, Networking Infrastructure, Backup processes, applications, User access, and Business unit interdependencies.

• Engineer detailed solutions for business resumption services, Data mirroring, Data replication, Managed Hosting, and Professional Consulting for subscribers and prospects.

• Prioritize and manage to the regional sales opportunities and goals.

• Maintain familiarity and adherence to all  methods and procedures.

• Consistently manage all Support Requests to a timely and successful completion.

• Ability to provide third level support to other Solution Engineer’s to include assisting with the creation of customized or out of the box solutions.

• College Degree preferred but will consider applicants with equivalent work-related experience with a minimum educational requirement of a H.S. Diploma or GED equivalent.

• Preferred Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or work equivalence.

• 5 – 7 years of technical services support or pre-sales support experience.

• 5 - 7 years of managed hosting services or networking experience.

• Familiarity with consulting services practices.

• Excellent PC Skills and common business applications. ( MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio)

• Detailed knowledge of Information Technology to include Data center infrastructures, data backup and recovery concepts and technologies.
